Getting Here

Washington, D.C. is a well-connected city, offering multiple options for travel:

 

By Air

  • Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA): Just 4 miles from the Capitol Hill area, this is the closest airport, offering a quick 15-minute drive or 20-minute metro ride to the event venue.
  • Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD): Located 28 miles away, Dulles offers international and domestic flights with a 45-minute drive or metro connection via the Silver Line.
  • Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI): Approximately 30 miles from D.C., BWI provides another great option, with about a 50-minute drive or an hour-long train ride via MARC or Amtrak.

By Train

Union Station: Only 0.5 miles from the event venue, Union Station is a major hub for Amtrak, MARC, and VRE trains, providing convenient rail service for attendees traveling from the Northeast Corridor and beyond. A quick 10-minute walk or 5-minute taxi ride will get you to your hotel or the summit.

By Car

Washington, D.C. is accessible via I-95, I-66, and other major highways. Parking is available at local hotels and garages near the Capitol Hill area. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also readily available.

Note: Registered attendees will have the opportunity to take a trolley tour of Washington, D.C., during registration hours on March 5, 2025. Advance sign-up is required. Attendees will also be offered free tickets to one of the local museums to enhance their D.C. experience.

Weather in D.C.

March in Washington, D.C., is full of surprises when it comes to weather. You could find snow on the ground, experience crisp winter days, or enjoy the arrival of spring with blooming cherry blossoms. Temperatures typically range from the mid-30s to the mid-60s (°F), so it’s best to prepare for a little bit of everything.

We recommend keeping an eye on the forecast as the event approaches so you can pack accordingly. Whether it’s a cozy coat or a light jacket, you’ll want to be ready to explore all that D.C. has to offer!
